This morning Anti-KXL Pipeline & Anti-Tar Sands activists braved the cold and stood outside the State Department in DC today as it was one of the few opportunities to catch Secretary Kerry in the city. Many State Department workers walked by on their way to work and saw our bright red signs calling for a rejection of Keystone XL. Some passerby’s even took a few info sheets on the tar sands! Secretary Kerry will be speaking later today at a conference, where many hope there will be a discussion on the future of KXL. This is where an original action was planned to take place but was replaced with this more direct action at his office in the State Department.
